  • Is the product actively maintained (updates, roadmap, changelog)?
  • Is the company likely to survive (pricing model, team signals, longevity)?
  • Do core features work without “future promises”?

2) Value vs. alternatives

  • What does the market leader cost monthly?
  • What do you get today for a one-time price?
  • Who should NOT buy this deal?

3) Hidden risks (we call them out)

  • Limits: seats, credits, storage, API caps
  • Data ownership, export, and lock-in
  • Support quality and refund terms
